Elementary Coffee Roasters is a separate chapter from Earthlings Coffee Workshop. Its initiative was to fulfil the elementary needs for good coffee and tea without too many hurdles. We believe that  the quality insurance of the two ageless beverages should always be an accessible necessity.

Along the line of accessibility, we have discovered that by utilising local ingredients, it is the more inexpensive way to bolster creativity while promised better freshness. Therefore, founded in the heart of Borneo, Elementary Coffee Roasters will make use of the wonderful variety of local produce and embark on a sensory expedition to source and fuse together elements to create new possibilities, and tell the story of Borneo through taste wherever we may land.

Our honorary partner from Germany is a science-based independent training and research centre. In addition to various one-day modular workshops, which can also be bundled, it offers individually designed training measures for the coffee industry as well as coffee suppliers (hotels, restaurants, coffee shops, bakeries, etc.). The most complex program is the Coffeologist training, which involves 12 different workshops and represents the entire value chain from bean to cup.

Dankoff is our first partner whom we work closely together in bringing the latest coffee and tea-related products into East Malaysia. From championship coffee machines to the trendiest barista tools, they have it all, and we are proud to represent their wide range of products here in Sarawak supported by their strong technical team.

The Specialty Coffee Association (SCA) is a nonprofit, membership-based association built on foundations of openness, inclusivity, and the power of shared knowledge. From coffee farmers to baristas and roasters, their membership spans the globe, encompassing every element of the coffee value chain. We started our coffee trainings at our earliest stage with their legacy associations (SCAA and SCAE respectively), and now we offer some of their certified coffee trainings in our academy to help coffee connoisseurs kickstart their learning journey in specialty coffee.

The Coffee Quality Institute (CQI) is a non-profit organisation working internationally to improve the quality of coffee and the lives of people who produce it. Their Q-Grading system has helped us tremendously from the very beginning in judge the quality of coffees that we buy.
